Content Authenticity Initiative

Real craft. On the record.

We're members of the Content Authenticity Initiative, the cross-industry community behind Content Credentials. Think of a credential as a nutrition label for a digital file: a signed record of who made the work and how it was made. When so much online is hard to trust, it lets our work show its receipts.

  1. 1
The artworkThe finished file you receive. Attaching a credential doesn't change how it looks.
  2. 2
Asset metadataBasic facts like size, color profile, and format. Ordinary metadata can be edited by anyone, so on its own it proves nothing.
  3. 3
Origin recordWhere the work started: the app, the producer, and any files that were brought in along the way.
  4. 4
Edit historyIn Photoshop, every tool and edit applied to the image is logged: brushes, adjustments, crops, type. It's the receipt for the craft.
  5. 5
Signed claimEach record is sealed with a cryptographic signature, which makes it tamper-evident. Change the record and the signature breaks.
  6. 6
Content bindingA unique fingerprint ties the record to these exact pixels. Change even one pixel and the credential no longer matches, so inspection tools can flag it.
Try it. Watch what happens to the seal when the file is altered after it was signed.

Photoshop projects

Content Credentials attached, including the full log of every tool and edit applied to the image.

Partial

Illustrator to Photoshop

Vectors built in Illustrator and finished in Photoshop show up as an imported file at the start, so the record doesn't tell the whole story yet.

Not yet

Canva quick-turn projects

When you choose the faster, budget-friendly Canva route, Content Credentials aren't part of that workflow yet.

The honest version: CAI membership isn't a stamp on every file. It's a commitment. We follow the standard as it evolves, use it everywhere our tools allow, and we'll move to a fully authenticated workflow as soon as the software makes that possible. We'll always tell you up front which kind of file you're getting.

Tracy O.Website & Graphic Design Customer
Kloud Pixel Studios was great to work with on a vectorization project for a large-scale sign tied to a full rebrand I was managing for a client. Communication was smooth, and I really appreciated that he was able to deliver the files the very next day. The attention to detail and professionalism made the process easy, and I’d absolutely work with him again for future production needs.
